How to play Star Battle

In Star Battle, place stars so that every row, every column and every colored region has exactly one.

Stars can’t touch, not side by side and not diagonally. Every board has one solution, and you can reach it without guessing.

Tap a cell to place a star, and tap it again to remove it. Drag across cells to place dots where a star can’t go. A drag that starts on a dot erases dots.

The game puts small dots on the cells a placed star rules out. You can turn this off in settings.
