Privacy Policy

This privacy and cookie policy describes how personal data is handled and how cookies and other technologies are used in the Puzzfix service.

The Puzzfix service is administered by Ququplay LLC, New York, USA.

Definitions

For the purposes of this privacy policy, the following terms have the following meanings:

Administrator – Ququplay LLC, New York, USA

Service – the service provided through the Puzzfix application

User – any party that uses the Service

Personal data

  1. The User may provide their personal data to the Administrator through forms available as part of the Service, such as the registration form and the user profile form.
  2. The controller of the User's personal data is the Administrator.
  3. Data provided to the Administrator through the registration form (username, email, password) is processed in order to operate the account.
  4. The weekly summary is turned on by default for registered accounts. The email address, username and game activity data are processed in order to prepare and send this summary. The summary can be turned off during registration, in the account settings, or through the unsubscribe link in every message.
  5. Providing data is always voluntary, but it is necessary for the User to take the action the given form is intended for.
  6. To send messages, the Administrator uses Sendy and Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), which process data as the Administrator's service providers. Apart from processors and cases required by law, the Administrator does not share data with other parties.
  7. Personal data is collected with due care and appropriately protected against access by unauthorized persons.
  8. The User has the following rights:
    • the right to request access to their data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing,
    • the right to object to processing,
    • the right to data portability,
    • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data for a specific purpose, if the User has previously given such consent,
    • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding the processing of personal data by the Administrator
  9. To delete their account and personal data, the User can email hi@puzzfix.com.

Cookies

  1. The Administrator uses cookies, that is, small pieces of text information stored on the User's end device (e.g. a computer, tablet or smartphone). Cookies can be read by the Administrator's IT system.
  2. The Administrator stores cookies on the User's end device and then accesses the information they contain for statistical purposes and to ensure the Service works properly.
  3. The User can delete cookies or block them from being saved at any time through the appropriate web browser settings.
  4. Disabling or restricting cookies may make it difficult to use some features of the Service.
  5. The User can give or withdraw consent to the use of cookies through the web browser settings.

Server logs

  1. Using the Service involves sending requests to the server where the Service's API is hosted.
  2. Every request sent to the server is recorded in the server logs. The logs include, among other things, the User's IP address, the server date and time, and information about the web browser and operating system the User is using.
  3. The logs are recorded and stored on the server.
  4. Data recorded in the server logs is not associated with specific people using the Service and is not used by the Administrator to identify the User.
  5. Server logs serve only as auxiliary material for administering the Service, and their contents are not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorized to administer the server.

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. Users will be informed of any changes through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after the privacy policy has changed means accepting it.
